Who are those young drug users? Consumption of psychoactive substances in contexts of social vulnerability in Argentina: Theoretical approaches.
Abstract
The objective of this work was to carry out a theoretical review to contribute to the understanding of the problem of the consumption of psychoactive substances in contexts of social vulnerability, having as an object of study young people. The work tries to expose the current situation of young people in Argentina from the information about the sociodemographic and economic profile, in order to contextualize them in their conditions of existence as well as provide data referring to the panorama of drug consumption in that country as well as international, articulating these reports to a theoretical reflection on the link between consumption and social vulnerability to tackle this problem in a more complex and comprehensive way, considering the social inequality that is present in this context and the significance that such practices acquire. Drug use and thus try to understand who these young drug users are.
