Enseñanza de la historia de la psicología en Argentina
Avances, enfoques y oportunidades
Abstract
This paper analyzes the current state of psychology history teaching in Argentina within the framework of the evaluation and accreditation standards for psychology undergraduate programs in that country. An overview that updates two decades of development in the discipline is provided, which can be used as a tool to consider the core content required under these regulations and to open dialogue with areas related to basic and professional training. This dialogue is particularly necessary with regard to the teaching of activities reserved for university degrees in psychology. Likewise, some innovative pedagogical perspectives that have gained relevance during this period are described. Finally, some opportunities to reinforce the growth of local history of psychology in a region-wide context are identified.
