Psicología Social y Documentos Personales: Hacia una Mirada Transdisciplinaria

Resumen

            La psicología y la psicología social, han demostrado cierto interés en los documentos personales. Desde distintas perspectivas teóricas estos han sido utilizados para comprender aspectos de alguna vida o cultura. Desde la teoría literaria también se han producido importantes aportaciones a la comprensión de los documentos personales. Este ensayo explora algunas de las aportaciones de la psicología al estudio de estos. A través del artículo se hará referencia a diversas autobiografías para explorar los modos en que la psicología social puede nutrirse del uso de los documentos personales y los modos en que en estos se reflejan y producen las relaciones entre el “yo” y el “otro”. Esto implica el diálogo con fuentes fundamentales para la psicología social como lo son Erving Goffman, Michel Foucault, y la psicología discursiva. Se presentan igualmente algunas de las más importantes consideraciones de la teoría literaria bajo el planteamiento de que deben elaborarse acercamientos transdisciplinarios que simultáneamente se nutran de la psicología social y las humanidades. También se exploran los modos en que cambios tecnológicos han transformado el mundo social, concepciones psicológicas y la naturaleza de los documentos personales. Esto tiene interesantes implicaciones en el estudio de la subjetividad contemporánea.
